I was told they were "star polyps" from the lady that set me up with everything. What do they look like to you????? I was just going by what she said.

Any info on this you can give me would be appreciated!

A piece of advice - take it or leave it.... The flat rock that you have is really more for freshwater tanks. I would replace it with some base rock if money's an issue.... Do a search on Hawaii base rock and you should be able to find a supplier...
If you're hellbent on keeping it, I'd put your live rock on top of it rather than under it...
Looks good though!! That GSP's gonna spread like crazy - take some small chunks of rock and surround it - you'll be able to trade frags in no time..!!
I DO plan on replacing it. It was free, so I couldn't complain! :) I never thought about placing small rocks beside the GSP. Great idea!!! Thanks for the tip.
