Updating my lighting...what size fixture.... ie...2 bulbs or 4

I have a 45 gal /fish only tank that's about 20 years old, and looking to get live rock and maybe some corals later, but mostly fish.. I was looking at the Nova extreme pro lighting fixture and noticed they have a 2 bulb or a 4 bulb configuration. my tank is about 48 x 12 x 18 . Any other recommendations are welcomed also.Thanks for looking...

hello. I also have the nova extreme pro.they also come in the 6 and 8 bulb fixtures. I would think that the 4 or 6 bulb fixture would be good for your tank. Just upgrade the actual bulbs. Current bulbs are not the greatest. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply LMR..that helps alot I'll most likely go with the 4 bulb, and yes, I have read to chance out the bulbs. thanks again.
