upgrade plans

I'm planning on upgrading to a 180 gal tank within the 6-8 months. I currently have a 35 gallon tank which houses two false percs and a royal gramma. I want to put one more fish in the existing tank - I want to eventually have a lemonpeel and an emperor angel in the large tank. Could I safely house a juvenile emperor for the next year in my current tank (that's what I REALLY want to do)? Or should I get the lemonpeel now and then add the emperor to the larger tank when I move everything.

You won't be very successful housing the Emperor in a 30 for very long, nonetheless a year. They need lots of room to swim.
You can get a lemonpeel now and add nothing else. The general rule is 1inch per 5gal of water. Overloading WILL result in dead fish within 3 weeks.

Thanks, that's what I fgured, but I was hoping that someone with more knowledge than me would say otherwise! I'll get my lemonpeel today and wait for the big tank to materialize.
