i have a 45g tank...im going to be upgrading to a 75 g probably. i was going to put my proclear 75 wet dry in a 30g tank and make that into a refugium(does this sound right, still not sure how and everything). my question is do i add the 75 and the 30g and tell people i have a 105g tank? and since i would have about 100 g or so of water is this better for fish and you can have more or what...how does this work

let me ask it a little easier....if i have a 75g tank and a 30g refug does taht mean my tank can hold fish that are only suitable for tanks that are for 100g or does it mean i still can only get fish that belong in a 75 since that is my dt?

The tank size rating for fish is based on swimming room so you are definately limited to a fish capacity for a 75 gallon tank.
