A quick question(s). I currenbtly have a 29 gal tank thats running a Esclipes 3 hood with 40watts of lighting* I know its awful, but I just got a promotion at work and wanting to buy better lighting system* with the filter. I also have a Fluval 204 running too. I plan on buying the CoralLife Power Compacts 30" with 130 watts. My question is what corals could I put in there?! I currently have the following:
Blue and Brown Mushrooms
Leather coral *frag*
Pulsing Xeina
Carnation coral
botton polyps
Anthelia
and a coral thats got blue/green polyps on a stony underlay *the exposed looks like little "valcanoes"..
any other info would be helpful..everythings doing VERY well, shrooms spreading and just a happy tank..jsut want to know the various corals that I can purchase and have with that type of lighting..thanks in advance..:)

how is the carnation coral they are very nice looking corals but will not survive in a closed tank very long unfortunatley.
but polyps, mushrooms, leathers, frogspawn, torch, bubble, and some brain corals do well under PC's

Well I've had the carnation for the past 5 months and is actually doing GREAT!! I target feed it DT's and have nad no problmes with it..it actuially started to produce two small ckuster of it self on the live rock but then they dissapeared.Ohhh well..:-( I do have to move him to a dark place....so I made a 8"ledge and I'll be stickin him under there..the only thing that I doint like is that he deflates and looks like someone "popped" him..hehehe..but then he comes back full extended and has a blast when feeding time..but so far so good..:) *knock on wood*
Darrel..:)
