upside down jellyfish

anyone got one of these? I picked one up for 3 bucks at my lfs...there boreing but when they swim around there cool to look at :hilarious

They are not uncommon in the hobby but often get sucked on to power heads and filters. Should this happen, it can have catastrophic effects on the tank (ammonia spike, etc).
Had to remove the picture due to the store link.

ahh sorry didn't know I couldn't use a pic from a store...i've got a guard on my powerhead so I haven't experienced that issue yet...what exactually does it eat?

OMG you will not believe this...so as my wife and I are sitting and watching the fish my jellyfish started swimming around, we look away for a moment and look back and I asked where it went...we can't find it anywhere..all of the sudden there's pieces of it floating in the water....it got sucked into my skimmer, shredded and re-deposited into the tank....just great..now what are my nitrites gonna do?!?!

Sorry to hear that...very common end I am afraid. watch your tank parameters closely. Water changes may not be a bad idea!
