My cleaner shrimp just molted. Apparently my sea urchin thinks his old exoskeleton is tasty!
Is it OK to leave the shrimps old skin in the tank? (it isn't like leaving a dead fish in the tank. ie. it won't decompose and create amonia, will it?)
If it is alright to leave the old skin in the tank, then I assume it is also OK for the urchin to have the skin for dinner (and/or the shrimp, crab, sea star, snails, or whomever else wants a bite)?
