Urgent Clown Question!

Bought a pair of clowns last week...one was 1.5" and the other .5". Well the big guy died today. Not sure what happened, but it developed discoloration on lips and became very inactive. The other little guy is great. Should I add another clown for him or forget the whole mating thing and get a different fish?

I've never liked anything better than my pair, they are just over a year old now, pair of ocellaris.

Add another now if you want before he gets used to being alone. It will be harder later to add one.
Or just add a different fish. either way.

Thanks. Can I add a True Clownfish instaed of the False(Ocellaris)?

yes any clowns can pair up my clarkii paried with my tomato clown they did the whole shaking court dance, oh when you add one make it smaller than the one you currently have, because when the female dies the male becomes a female

ive never had luck with the tank raised nemo clowns, allways died a week later
