If a crab and a half weigh a pound and a half; and the half crab weighs as much as the whole crab again. How much does half of the whole crab and the whole of the half crab weigh?
half of the whole crab = .5 lbs per half crab
Whole of the half crab = 1.0 lbs per whole crab
crab and a half = 1.5 lbs/ 3 halves = .5lbs each half
half a crab = .5 x 2 (Whole crab, not a crab and a half) = 1lbs
therefore
half of the whole crab = 1lbs / 2 = .5lbs per half crab
whole of the half crab = .5lbs x 2 = 1.0 lbs per whole crab
I think unless I missed soemthing

It's just a really ambiguous question and a waste of everyone's time (good thing we come on here to waste time). I don't think there is a real answer. How can you make up a question and come up with multiple answers? It seems you don't even understand your own question.

That is the point of the question and I did not make it up. It appears to have one solution but it can be read from multiple angles.
