Used 90g reef ready

I would like everones opinion. I found a 2yr old 90g reef ready setup with an oak stand on CL for $200. It has PVC stand pipes in it already, but the seller claims that when he broke it down to move here, he noticed some dampness underneath it and there was a damp spot beneath the stand as well. He said there was no visible crack or damage to the silicone. He also said that his auto fill was only filling about 1 1/2 gallons per day under 6 bulb T5 fixture. I don't mind having to reseal it. What do ya'll think, persue it further or run far far away.
Thanks, Sean

I'd go for it. Resealing is not a terribly difficult job. It's also entirely possibly that the seller had a leaking bulkhead connection, and the tank itself is fine.
$200 is not a terrible price for a 90RR and stand, but I'd offer 150 and see what happens. Not many folks are getting into the hobby right now, so it's a buyers market when it comes to used goods, especially given that he feels the tank is flawed.
