user titles? who gives them out?

so when i first got into this site, i named my own user title as "reef dreaming" well the other day i reset it and just used the default title,which turned to registered user. well funny thing i looked at a post of mine and it says "yellow tang" i didnt do that, so i assume that a moderator did it, cool with me i like it, but does it have special meaning? or does this mean they think im a bully, and territorial?? lol or is it based on the number of posts youve made, like for instance "Beth" is "shark" , i saw "007" was "sea turtle" just curious, no big deal..

On the "old board" the title was determined by number of posts (and included things like "yellow tang" and other fish). Now you can set it yourself. I reckon if you set it back to default, it might go back to fish names determined by post count.

yeah but i just reset it yesterday because i was using a customized title, and yellow popped up today!

It seems to me they brought it back. Becuase for the longest time it was Registered User. (when on default) but now its showing the Titles again. Im happy I might just have to go change mine just to see what the heck I am lol.

Nope they didnt bring it back. They just have default set to Yellow Tang instead of Registered user I was happy to.
