I was also looking into getting a RO DI, but my biggest concern is where do I store the water? I have a 150 gal tank so I would need a large amount of water. My tank is in my living room, and I really don't have space anywhere to put a big tank/drum just for water. I could potentially put one in the basement, but then I guess I would have to either carry it upstairs, or pump it up somehow. Any ideas? What do you guys with larger tanks do? My laundry room is right behind my tank, so I though about putting in there and drilling a hole through the wall and running it into the sump to use as makeup water. Is there a way to put in a float in my sump to shut it on/off kinda like your toilet works?
