Hi,
Just returned from vacation and found a lot of fist sized bits of dead coral washed up on a beach. It was not in a park and my area is very unspoiled so pollution is not a problem and I collected a few of the more
pourous and interesting pieces. This is from very cold waters but I am concerned about any problems from using this in my reef tank. I have 120 lbs. of live rock but this stuff looks great and I figure will eventually become encrusted with corraline algae. If I sanitize it will it add to my tank enviroment. Beleave me in Newfounland, Canada(go get your atlas) this stuff was just lying there going to waste in the landwash.
