Using Filter When Curing LR

If I were to use a filter that has an established bacteria colony, would that hurt or help the curing process of my live rock? I thought it might help keep the ammonia levels down. Also, if I had 150 watts over a 29 gallon tank, would that be enough for most corals? Thanks.

i dont see a problem with using a filter while curing rock, but id recommend using a protein skimmer with the rock.
As for the lights, im guessing they are VHO or PC's. You will be able to keep LPS corals and softies but need to stay away from clams and SPS. There are always exceptions to this rule, take as you want to.

Using an established bacteria base is no problem. I agree with the skimmer during curing, helps pull the dead and dieing Doc's out of the water before becoming nitrates or fowling the water.
