Using pre-filters on your return.

I just recently replaced my mag9 with a new mag12. This caused the water in my sump to move much faster and also causing bubbles in my return chamber. I had to put the sponge filter on so the pump didn't suck up the bubbles. Now for my question, do you think that the pods will make there way thru the prefilter, or should I try to mod my sump so the water doesn't crash down and create bubbles.

always better without a sponge because it will collect deterous and cause you to do more maintainence but pods will make it through it no problem
