Using wood from the beach

hi everyone... i have recently found some nice smooth pieces of wood from the beach and it looks like it could be a great house for pods and other good stuff... has anyone ever used wood in a SW tank? this wood looks like it has been in the ocean for quite a while.. any help would be appreciated thanks

I wouldn't use wood in a SW setup unless it's completely coated with tank-safe resin. You never know when/what it will leach out of it.
