UV and ICH

Just curious, how many of you have had an ICH problem with a UV? I used to have this problem, but after buying my UV, the fish seem really healthy, no signs of any disease. Can a UV take the place of a Quarantine tank? (dont be too hard on me for that question!!)

I had a bad ick problem once but, when I got my uv, my fish barely got ick. No, a uv shouldn't take place of a qt, you should buy a qt anyways, just because you have a uv, doesn't mean you're fish wont get sick.

SW4 is right - A UV helps, but it doesn't take the place of a Q-Tank.
