i have a 60gal with a penguin biowheel and an ehiem 2217 its fish only and everything working great i want to put uv sterilizer on is it better to hook t on return l;ine o f canister filter or in tank with a power head

Depends on the recommended flow rate needed for the UV. If the canister is enough then just T it but put a valve befor the UV so you can adjust the rate going thru the UV slower flow is best for UVs IMO but needs to be fast enough that the bulb does not heat the water.
