uv sterilizer and ich.

i have a uv sterilizer and i have heard that if u have one that you cant have ich. well i do and i was wondering how long it would take to get kill off the ich or if it would. it is only on my powder brown tang and is not spredding.

Your UV will not win the battle against ick. Read the disease forum on hyposalinty. It's even that or copper. Read the disease forum though, it will prevent any mistakes

I use a UV on my tank, and it does prevent massive outbreaks IMO, but will not totally prevent ich.
