Two or three days would be no problem. They could go that long without food easly. If your talking a two weeks I would have someone ckecking on your tank even thou healthy fish can live that long without food it would weaken them.

If gone for two week or two might want to get battery operated pump and have someone check in incase of power outage. I used one for shinnners with f/o system i'm thinking of buying a good one or have generator ready. With the amount of $$$ in these systems i'd want to be prepared. :cool:

When I'm gone for more than just a couple of days I set up the automatic feeders and ask a friend to stop by to check for any water problems. I also adjust the timers on the lights to go on considerably less to avoid excessive water evaporation. That would be something you need to consider if you have a wet/dry(glad I'm not running mine anymore).
