vacations/topoff

I've been considering getting an auto top-off. I've searched through the archives but that has made me concerned about how much to trust the system were I to go on vacation. Can anyone who has an auto top off tell me if they would rely on it during a week away or do you have someone check on it to make sure no mechanical problem has caused an overflow in your absence?

I don't know how electrical knowledge you have but I built my own with some simple parts from local stores and it holds about fifteen gals of RO top off water. I travel alot for work and just have someone stop i maybe once a eek just in case. But have 100% faith in unit.

Get a Tunze osmolator... it uses optical sensors and does not have parts like mechanical float switches that can jam or "stick on"... no worries of a flood, but that's also the reason its $195 instead of $60.
