no...just leave the cleaning of your sand bed to a good clean up crew or a diamond goby.

I do syphon the top layers of my LS it is full of detrius regardless of my cleaning crew, the first time i did it i pulled like 5 gallons of black crap out, your LS can be full of nitrates! I had a nitrate problem now much much lower and better!

I didnt understand what you meant...could you explain me step by step !!! what do you mean you syphon the top layers.....==??? sand is at the bottom of the tank how you clean it ...i wonder?? teach me so i learn how to do it please !!!MIAHEATLvr :notsure:
