Valentines Day gift

OK, I need suggestions or to know what you all are doing for Valentines Day. I'm probably not doing dinner so I need to get a nice gift for the wife. I've done flowers to death so I don't want to do that again. Probably will spend around $100.00. What to do, what to do?
Can I get a decent pair of earrings for $100?
Concert tickets?
Uggh, clothes shopping?
Anything else?

IMO, dont go clothes shopping. your bound to get something that she doesnt like, or thats not her style.
no offense, its a proven fact.

what does she like?

I'd only go clothes shopping with her but that takes the surprise out of it. Not to mention that I'd have to endure hours and hours of shopping.
What does she like? Hard to say (depends on the day). She likes shopping and jewelry but she doesn't need the most expensive stuff. She likes personalized gifts. I've gotten her engraved picture frames before. She likes our kids but I'm not giving her anymore of those. She doesn't really have any hobbies outside of home, work and family. Not really into fish or computers all that much.

hopefully this link will work but either way here's a whole page of some very nice jewelry you can get her for <$100. And trust me, jewelry is ALWAYS a great gift!! my boyfriend buys me something with hearts every Christmas (thus far) and I think it's the sweetest thing! If it's shiny, we like it :)

Thanks for the site. There was something on there that I could get. So now I'm between jewelry and lingerie. I may have to go back and add a poll to this thread.

Every year for the last 10years, I've gotten the otherhalf a 2lb box of molasses milk chocolate chips from See's. And for 10years it's been the perfect gift, now it's a no brainer and just part of the tradition. Otherhalf loves em and waits with anticipation for that 2lb box everyear..........gota love simplicity

well well look who the cat drug in...

arent both of those gifts a little A Typical??? get a wine of the month club membership so that the both of you can enjoy an evening every month and hang out and enjoy the newest bottle and discuss it... do a couples day spa... something that the two of you will enjoy...
but if you must go with one or the other get a ring or necklace with your childrens birthstones and a diamond in the center...

again, girls' perspective, lingerie is for guys, not girls. at least, that's what this girl feels!
you took the words right out of my mouth...
she likes your kids??? get her one of them blankets and have it embroidered with your kids on it, doesn't cost as much as most jewelry and its very personable and it would be her prized blanket!!!! what do you think??
PS kerriann, your a hottie!!! sorry i had to

lol, thanks. i like the blanket idea but i think that'd be more for a birthday thing. valentine's day is supposed to be about the relationship, not the kids. It's a day that women created so that we can force guys to take one whole day outta their lives to focus all of their attention on us because, let's face it, we just LOVE attention!

The problem is that after all these years, I have bought everything many times over... lingerie, jewelry, blankets, personalized gifts of the kids, flowers, candy, spa, etc. And she doesn't like wine. I like this necklace from the Zales site. What do you all think?
