valentini or mimic file

i want to buy a valentini puffer but im worried about buying a mimic file fish does anyone know a way i can tell the difference

Here are pics of the 2 fish. The first is the puffer, the second is the file. There are obvious differences betwee the two.

i still cant really tell, are thier like any difference that i can look for like a longer fin. i think the stomach looks bigger in the puffer.

The dorsal and anal fins are obviously very different. Just look for those.

Yep. And the mouth of the puffer is different as well.
