Valentini puffed up

My poor valentini has a pretty bad case of ich so I gave him a freshwater dip and he decided to puff up in there. I tried to burp him just in case he caught air because he was floating to the top. (yes he was transferred in a bucket, not a net)
Anyone else have this happen?

Stick a pin in him to deflate him lol..

he probably just got stressed out. Is he still puffed up?

no he deflated in less than a minute. Luckily I had the camera handy...............

You'd better do something about the ich asap; or you may lose all your fish. I'd post this in the disease section and read Beth's long thread and go from there. A FW dip is not nearly enough treatment for a case of ich.

I actually started hypo a few days ago. I also lost my yellow tang, blue spotted puffer and yellowtail damsel.
