valentini puffer compatibility

have a 20 gal, crushed coral substrate, florida live rock, and puff daddy. looking for small tankmates and info on both the puffer and potential tankmates(the more unusual the better) Thanx!

I have a Valentini Puffah in my tank with a Maroon Clown, Decorated Goby, Atlantic Pygmy Angel, and a Dwarf Lion.

Our valentini is a very good community fish but i have to say that a 20 gallon is too small for these guys. I think the minimum is a 30 gallon. They get to about 5 inches.

this is just my starter tank i plan to go bigger. how fast do they grow?

it probly depends on old the fish is but you should diffently get a bigger tank 20 gallons before you get other fish. maybe a clown.

the v. puffer is about 1 1/2 in. long so still young. i want something more exotic than Nemo. any suggestions?

if you dont have alot a rock you might try maybe a coral beauty if you plan to up grade soon

just look on the web at fish you might like just keep in mind thier size with your tank and when you plan to up grade
