I tried to post this once already but when I click the on that is supposed to be it I get another thread. If you have read and posted a reply please do so again as I didn't see it. I'd like to have a yellow tang and a clown fish with a valentini. Does this shound doable in a 55gal? Would another type of tang or clown be better?

Seeing as Valentini puffers are small in comparison to most puffers I would say it's alright to have it with a Tang and clown. You should probably go with a Tomato or Maroon Clown but you could go with something smaller. For the Tang, you must realise they need pristine water quality and need a lot of vegetable matter in their diet. If you can do that you should be fine. But don't go with any large Tangs. Stick with the Yellow for now.

that setup should work. just watch out, valentini puffers are notorious fin nippers. but, a clown and tang should be ok. i just wouldnt do inverts in there. bo

Sounds good to me but with the same warning watch the Puff in the beginning and see if it does nip fins. I have had some of these that never went near their tankmates, but have heard about others who got a nasty one. A smaller baby sized one would probably start out better then a larger adult. Max size is about 3 to 5 inches.
