Hey,
I fell in love with seahorses and have to have a pair. I was thinking about getting a 20 gallon and dont know where to go from there and I need your help
1.what kind of filter?
2.powerhead if any?
3.exact lighting brand and everything?
4.breeding tank what would i need in it to keep the babies alive?
5.where to get the horses?
6.food?

Wow! That's a lot to answer in 1 post, so I'll make it easy.
Head over to www.syngnathid.org . I really enjoy this site because it has both hobbyists and commercial seahorse breeders as members. That combination provides an insight and resource potential I haven't found anywhere else. If your question involves 2 horses or 20,000 - the board community has the experience needed to offer the best advice possible.

Question 4 and oddly enough my recommendation for 5 is in the forum " The Paternity Ward"
Question 6 has many different answers. Look in the forum "The Feed Bag" for all of the options.

Seahorse.org has some good info too, but it's not a site I visit anymore, for reasons that are my own.
