Vegas bound!

Leaving tomorrow morning for week long adventure in the desert. We get in Friday evening and are spending one night at The Plaza on Freemont St. First thing Saturday morning we are renting a car and heading to the Grand Canyon for 2 days of hiking and sightseeing. We're staying at The Red Feather Lodge while there, in the park. Then on Sunday night its back up to Vegas for 4 nights at The Stratosphere.
The clock is ticking..... can't wait to get out of here already!

Sounds like fun! We have done that where you go from the peaceful, serene, beautiful natural wonder, to....well shall we say decadent Las Vegas.

Make sure you have driving directions to your hotel on Friday. downtown can be a little hard to get around, especially on Friday night. You will have no problems finding the Stratosphere.

We were just there and I am surprised with how much building there has been, how much they are still building.

Thanks! My wife has been there before and I'll have my GPS with me so we should be OK.

Makes me think of the movie 21. I wish I could go to Vegas with like 120,000 to spend and have a really good time.

You are lucky, I have never seen the "fremont experience". Never got around to going downtown yet.
