Veggie clip - necessary?

For pieces of dried seaweed/algae - is there anything wrong with just letting it float around? My only filtration is a skimmer, LR and powerheads.

Waterfaller - I love it here too! Friendly people and lots of fun outdoor activities! Florida is fun, too - I lived in St. Pete for 5 yrs.! I actually have a veggie clip - I'll use it - I just like watching my Tang chase after it!

I think it is easier for a Tang to eat when it's anchored. Then they can rip off small pieces instead of trying to chew it up.

algae clip is definetly useful...although my YT almost always rips the algae sheet right out of the clips anyway and I have to take it out of the powerhead screen and refasten it to the clips..
