Velvet Damsel

I have one of these in my 20g with a fire goby ( I think thats what they're called >.>). Anyway I saw the damsel sort of "biting" at my zoos and finger leather today. Could this be the reason why my finger won't open and why some of my zoos are disappearing or is he just cleaning them?
(Wasn't sure if this was supposed to go in this forum, so if it needs to be moved I'll understand (^.^)v )

damsels are known for nipping at some corals, im not shure if hes preventing them from opening, alot of different variables, wat r your paremeters and lighting?
