Vermiculated angel

Hey guys,
I just got my vermiculated angel in yesterday and he really hasn't eaten anything. I have tried frozen brine and some flake food. Is there a certain type of food that they will like to eat. Any brands that are recommended?

My angel likes algae sheets, formula one and two, emerald formula or something, and squid also. Never touched flakes. Also, a varied diet is really important for their health, so brine won't do you any good over the long run.

I will try the algae sheets right now. I just don't want him to die! He also like to hide a lot behind all the LR that I have. I guess that he is still trying to get acustom (sp) to the tank..

have your seen it picking at the live rock? if so im sure it can sustain itself for the short term until its bold enough to eat from the water column.

i agree with jon, if you don't have live rock, get live rock. also try soaking the food in garlic. there is also a product i heard about, but i can't remember the name off hand. it is used to get sharks to start eating, but it is suppose to work with fish as well. i'll think of the name.

Is it Zoecon? I use that for my sharks and rays. Works really well, kind of pricey though.
