Hey y'all!
Here is the skinny... I have lost (well he climbed out of my tank) my scooter and how are faced with the dilema of adding a new tank mate. I have a yellow tang (problem child), Nemo (lol), coral beauty, mandarin dragonette in my 75. A variety of inverts from a CBS to purple lobster. Too many hermies to name and a red brittle. Parameters are spectacular (k.o.w) and have been for over a year and a half now.
My dilema is which "swimming" fish to add to my tank. I am thinking about three choices but given my stock I am not sure which is best and looking for opinions. Keep in mind, my yellow tang is the jack of the tank and nemo (believe it or not) is king. Nemo is a easy going as the rest but the tude on the tang is rediculous.
I was leaning towards the copperband butterfly or Heniochus Butterfly and lastly a blue hippo (dory for my neice). Just wasnt sure which would be best. All sites and books say the CBB is peaceful but the last one I had was a juvie and was stressed by the jack or should I say joker and eventually died from stress. Do I go with a larger more developed? or trash the idea all together. The Heniochus is pretty neat, not sure how it would react to the tang. And the blue tang, well I know not to have the similar genus of tangs in the same tank, but they are not directly related by family. Is this a bad idea?
I like them all but need some opinions. So this is where the public gets to pick my last fish... any help from people with experience with these fish would be greatly appreciated. Thanx all!
