I got a BTA about a month to 6 weeks ago. Looked like crap when I adopted him and just moved around the tank for about a week to 10 days. Then I woke up and checked on him one morning and he was nowhere to be found. So I assumed he was dead.
Then yesterday I get up and check on the tank and there he/she is sitting on top of the rock fully expanded. Where the BTA went or why he came back out I have no idea. But this is very cool because I love anenomes. It is also readily accepting food now as well. Very cool.

It just went and hid, its ery common, but next time an anemone is suspected dead I advise immeadiate search, and If dead, lots of carbon, and a big waterchange

I did search and I couldn't find him. I even moved rock around and still couldn't find him. I did do a normal water change and I did run carbon for 2 2 day stretches just to be safe.
But it is back and growing!!!
