My main display tank is a 55 gallon glass tank, I have a spare glass 30 gallon I was using as a quarantine. How can I convert that to a refugium without drilling? I seen sump/ refugium inserts for glass tanks on ----, are they any good? Where is the best place to put the tank, along side or under the dt? If its possible to place along side, how would you plumb it without drilling? I've researched so much info and I seem to find the right awnsers, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you have a built in overflow into your tank then you can have the sump go under your DT and then have some PVC pipe run down over the tank and have it run that way. If your tank doesnt have a built in overflow box then you can buy one and have that suck water out of the tank and over the top of the tank to the sump. IMO it looks better and is easier if the sump is underneath the DT and not next to it unless you have it run to a basement or something like that. Hope that this all makes sense. Good luck.
