I have a Pair of Tomatoe clowns. They are mates.
THe female so we think she is maybe she is the male. She has darker around the eyes that's why we call her the female. Looks like eyeliner. For about a week we had noticed a white pretty large spot under her left fin. It wasn't tiny much larger then ich spots. about the size of a peice of Coral. So we thought she might of eaten a peice of coral and it was trying to come out of her skin. That's what it looked like. Well we talked to our LFS and they said it is prob a parasite and not likely a coral. To treat her with KanaPlex. We started treatment yesterday(last night). The spot did in fact get smaller. Another appeared same size above were the other is going away. Since it was an open wound. We decided to also treat her with Malafex. I've noticed today that she has not eaten and looks very very thin. Her body looks very flakey She is much thinner then the male. We had them seperated since last night. But she and him started getting really stressed out because they were seperated. He would go around the 75 g looking for her making the swooping motions. Just acting very upset. She also was doing the same thing and thought that it wasn't good for her. So we put the male inside QT with her. They seem less stress he's eating fine. Comforting her really. As soon as she startes acting funny he goes up to her and nugs her to calm down and she does. I've tried flake spiralina, and brine shrimp and she's eaten nothing. We made a hiding spot for her to see if that would help. Levels are all fine. Everything perfect. I'm not suppose to treat again with Kanaplex until tomorrow night. Has this happened to anyone?
I know we should get a cleaner shrimp and as soon as we can I will. But until then.........Help
