VHO Light

Hey Gang,
I have been doing some research on VHO light. It sound pretty interesting. I know it requires a 1.5 amp ballast and special vho light and end cap. what else should i be concern with? any comments will be greatly appreciated.

obviously, more heat than standard flo's.

I just switched from standard flo's 60watt to 200 watts of PC. I've had to rearrange ALL my corals. My shrooms are hating the extra light. So be prepared to be shoulder deep in your tank for a few weeks till you work out the extra light problem

The VHO ballast is gonna generate a lot of heat Ice Cap comes with a large heatsink and should be mounted outside of the hood.
I have a set up on my projects list, if I give myself an A+ in F/O at the end of 1 yr then I may attempt a Reef.
