i just got the csl moonlight setup for my 55 it looks great..(its pc)...It toatlly depends on what your planning on putting in your tank...pc is only considered medium lighting..so u will not be able to put as much in tank as u could with vho..My csl's came with bulbs for 279.00 the 4 bulb vho kit i looked at was 479.00 without the bulbs..decide what your gonna have in tank then u can best choose your lighting

all things being equal, you'll be replacing 2 bulbs instead of 4. Long term, the VHO will save you some dough.

You will want the bulbs that I mentioned above, do not get the aquasun 10000k as they have a pink cast the most do not like.
Yes this setup would come with everything you need, just mount it and plug it in.
Remember however that these are 48 inch bulbs with endcaps making it about 49-1/2 inches, so your canopy might have to be customized or you can go with the 46.5 inch bulbs that would fit almost all canopies.

I had PC on my 90 gallon and then because of heat issues I went to VHO. After I upgreded to a 125 gallon tank I built a 12 inch canopy and have since switched back to PC for my Daylights and kept my VHO's for actinic. I definately notice that the PC's last longer. Even after 6 months I could notice a decline in my VHO's intensity. I do like the VHO actinics alot better than the PC's. I have the 4-96 PC retro from the site Thomas mentioned and My VHO retro is also from the same place. Their custumer service is awesome and second to none.
