Vho,pc,mh???

I realy need u guys help.MY budget is like 300$ and i need the best lighting posible for that.What is the best and cgeapest lighing for a 90 gal. reef? What are the number of watts i9 need and what corals would i be able to keep with each one of those lights.This will be a big help if u answer all my questions.

I was going to say 2 x 250 DE halides but that knocks the $300.00 out of the water. Look into a VHO uri setup.

That would depend also on what type of reef. Softies or SPS's ... I have a 90 gal (4 ft across X 24 in deep) And I have 2 150w MH's and 2 actinic VHO's and I have a few hard corals from midway to the top, but the bottum looks

. So I am gonna upgrade to 250's. But considering your price range, you may have to go with just soft corals. I don't know which light is more powerful between VHO's and power compacts. But if it's the PC's you can definately get those for under $300. Coralife makes nice ones. Aqualight I think it's called.
But you'd be hard pressed to find any MH's for under $300.
