ok yea I saw the hello products........ How much lighting would you reccamend for a 30 gallon... I've seen post where people have got away with 150 watts and had some of the corrals that require more light...
I'm thinking more around 300watts...
3 50/50's and one actinic...
or would
2 10000k and 2 actinics
be better?

I tried this... I bought a "Ultra high output" ballast and tried hooking it up to some lights... and it works, for a little while, then the internal safety overload on the ballast works and it trips off line... So, yes and no... It works, for 40 minutes, then doesn't for an hour, and so-on...

Gotta agree with lillbudy on the hello ballasts, runs as cool as any IceCap I have ever felt and doesn't cost as much, good warrenty.
