via aqua protien skimmer delux

Does anyone have any expirence with this protien skimmer it is a hang on with a UV steralization for 120 bucks sounds to good to be true or can someone recomend a hang on protien skimmer for under 150 bucks

i have this skimmer w/out UV. skimmer part works well, but the filter pads suck.... the water just flows over the top of the filter pad, so dont rely on it for mechanical filtration. it has a couple of handy compartments for different components (i put my heater in the one behind the filter pad) and the skimmer works really well after it runs for a week and you get the air/water mixture figured out. my only complaint, if it really is one, is that the unit is pretty bulky and looks kinda funny on my 29g tank.
