I am looking for something that I do not need to be a tech genius to run. Any suggestions, it doesn't need to be complicated looking for something easy to use that will do a decent job with basic photo editing and vidoe editing (can be two seperate software).

basic stuff can be done with the video editing software that comes with cameras and scanners. My electronic cameras came with cool photo express. It allows you to resize crop, change brightness, contrast, gamma and so on.

I love photoshop, but I hear it can cost some money. (I use it at school)
I have ArcSoft PhotoStudio 2000 on my computer, but it sucks compared to photoshop, but I guess it does the job.
I don't know any for video editing.

Photoshop Elements 2.0 can be purchased for under $100, and has 90% of the features of the full version of Photoshop.

I couldn't find it either, there is no way I can afford photoshop, so I am looking at MSN Picture it, I have heard a few good things about it.
