vinegar question.....

it's been a few years since i needed to vinegar clean somthing and couldent remember if distilled malt is aqua friendly?

I am not sure about the malt. I use distilled white with no problems.

What ratio of vinegar to water?

i have soaked things in pure vinegar for a few days, rinsed them and then put them in the tank. no problem.
meanwhile, i would think either vinegar would work fine.

I use white, it's usually the cheapest.
