Viper Moray

I was just wondering if anyone had kept one in captivity or heard of it being kept?

I looked into getting one a while back and found out that they are hard to find in a LFS, if you do find one it will probably be billed as an "Assorted Moray". They don't get too big, 3 feet and they are meat eaters. I never found one or someone who had one, but good luck.

The book Reef Fishes, Vol. One says these are really good captive eels...not nearly as aggressive as they look. I've never seen one for sale, before, though. Cool eel!

My LFS has a good contact out of Hawaii that gets him a lot of special orders. Think I will ask him about the price and if it's possible to get one.
