vita chem?

is this additive good to use? my gf bought it, but we need to know if its good or not..

the guy at my lfs was just telling us today that he used to use the vitachem in his tank, but then he switched to something else that worked better. actually, he soaks the food for his seahorse in it.... i can't remember what my mom just bought to use.... sorry.

i think its good, just don't like doing new things to the tank......
