Volcano Skimmers

I'm not sure if this is a competitor thing or not...
Has anyone ever heard of Volcano skimmers? They are made by Scott (Spazz) Anyone ever read about them or seen them in action? Anyone own one?
Want to share your knowledge and experience about this kick but-t protein skimmer?
Do you think it's worth the $5700 that you would pay for it? Check em' out. I'm considering buying one for my 2200 gallons of water in one of my systems.

I read up on one on that "other reef site" on Tank of the Month. They run off one pump, so you will be very thankful when the energy bill comes at the end of the month. The person that had it seemed to be very very happy with his.

Yeah,
These things are freaking huge... The second one that is made is two foot in diameter and 5 feet tall. A little over six feet with the collection cup and all.
I think it only pulls like 80 watts of electricity...
Anyone have a volcano?

I've seen and read....If Spazz made it it works......I think he did the skimmer for the St. Judes' tank.

Yeah, he did that skimmer, he's also done the skimmer for Energy on --'s 2200 gallon heavily stocked reef tank...
I think I trust Spazz...
Anyone else have any opinions on the skimmer? Can someone vouch for hor freaking amazing they are?

I don't own one, but based on what I've seen both from the St. Jude's build and what Energy has said about his, if I was building a large tank a Volcano would be my first choice for a skimmer.
