Im planning more of my tank specs, lol maybe planning to much and to little action.
But anyways I have made a list of fish I would like to have in the tank. It will be a 125g
For sure would be:
1 Black Volitan, hes about 5" right now (from my friend)
This is a list of fish I would like to have in with him.
I realize the smaller fish will possible be eaten when the lion gets bigger
2 Azure or Blue Damsels
2 Firefish Gobies
2 Royal Grammas
2 Hippo Tangs
1 Yellow Tang
I would like to add a Zebra or Tessalata Moray instead of some of the smaller fish but im sure the zebra would eat most of the clean up inverts I plan on using like hermits crabs, turbo snails, bumble bee snails, and astrea snails and the Tessalata would eat everythign and get REALLY big and dominate the tank.
Any other suggests or alternatives??

The lion will eat all of those fish except for the tangs(depending on their size). Remember that lions grow incredibly quick and a five inch lion could easily double in size in a year-. Lions are great hunters and will eventually catch any fish that is small enough to eat. A tessy needs a much larger tank, will kill the lion and injure itself in the process. Tessys are incredibly aggressive and really need a large species only tank. A zebra should not bother the hermits or snails.

just a note on bumblebee snails: they are predatory whelks, and do nothing as a member of you CUC. they feed on much of the beneficial fauna in your tank, including small snails. unless you really like them, skip them.
