I will indeed post pics. They should arrive via fedex tomorrow morning, if all goes according to plan.
Been looking for a bumblebee forever myself. We'll see what happens.

Here's a pic of my last new critter just to hold you over 'til tomorrow

I'm gonna get what I believe is the boy counterpart later this week so I have the pair. They came in at LFS with their separate bags rubberbanded together, so I'm pretty sure they're mates.

Here the Bumblebee is:

Awesome little critter! It's about 3/4" long total.
I can't get a good pic of the electric blue hermit, but web pics abound. It looks just like that.
Unfortunately the PomPom was DOA

New one soon, I hope.

Thanks guys - I will get another. Just hate when the critters don't make it...
Meantime, holy cow - I haven't even finished acclimating yet and the hermit just molted!

Color rendition is horrible, as are my photography skillz, but if you insist:

Really cool critter too. Bands are WAY brighter blue than in the pic, and it has an orange face.
I wish I'd been paying closer attention. I'd love to have gotten a video of the process.

Hiding in his shell. Every now and again, he pokes out a little, but he's prolly really scared at the moment, being a soft "shell" and all.
I really freaked at first 'cuz I have him and the bumblebee in the same acclimation container, and suddenly the bee was munching on the leftovers. I was all, what? are bumblebees really nasty and no-one mentioned it on the sites I researched?

2 hours down, prolly another 1/2 hour or so to go. Salinity almost matches now. The inverts I ordered came in at 1.027, and the fish at 1.020. I run @ 1.025. One coming up, one going down...
