well,
im waiting to go on vacation and when i get back im setting up my 29g oceanic biocube! i bought a skimmer for it,and it says its made JUST for the biocube and you put it in the middle chamber, and to take the bio-balls out .so do you people think it'd work/really good idea i got it? another thing if you look at my heater its kinda long ,its 150w .a guy told me i could put it under the sand? i dont think that would work ,so i thought i would put in the very left chamber..... another thing a lot of people say this stock list wont work good for a begginer like me
2 false perc clown
1 flame angel fish
1 sixline wrase and maybe another?
coral: chlil coral, maze brain coral, candycane coral, some type of frog-spawn,devil hand mushroom,Mushroom Coral - Fuzzy Grass, and some others?? if have 10,000k coral life lights two of those and blue lunar eclplise lights like 20 pounds of live rock of 15lbs and 20lbs od live sand?? would this all work????

welcome to the boards, I hope you find everything your looking for, there are a lot of knowledgable people here eager to help and give advice.
Im not sure about putting the heater under the sand, it would prob work but adjusting it and any rock shifting would definatly be a red flag issue. The biocube skimmer IMO is ok, not great. It works and for this tank its prob sufficient.
As far as your stock list goes, everything but the flame angel is fine. And IMO 3 fish are ideal, 4 is do able but pushing it a bit. The angel although is considered a dwarf angel gets pretty large for a tank your size. And requires more grazing room. If you like angels look into the pygmy size angels that only get 2 to 3" long.
For a reef tank I would get at least 1.5 lbs of LR per gal. 20 lbs IMO is a bit lite. All the corals you mention are doable go slow, get smaller frags as these will grow and consume a lot of real estate in your tank. Be cautious of LPS corals with large sweeper tenticals in smaller tanks they can sting other corals and inhabitants. HTH and Good luck.

Twenty lbs of live rock is not enough... I had 30 in my 29Bio and it looked a little barren. I have 45 or 50 now. The advantage that you do have, though, is that if you find a nice big mushroom rock or a large colony of something, you have plenty of room.
I have had a Flame angel in mine for 4 or 5 months and he is AWESOME... but he does graze a lot, so with such little liverock you will need to keep plenty of algae sheets on hand to supplement.
I would skip the wrasse for something like a Yellow watchman goby. They are fun to watch and not aggressive like the sixline can be. Other than that, I don't see any problems with your list as long as you are punctual with water changes and maintenance...
I have the Oceanic skimmer, but I don't really care for it. It is ok. But I didn't remove the bioballs... instead, I bought another pack of stock filters and layed them over top of the bioball chamber so that water flows through them, then into the balls. I took the one in chamber 1 out and put the skimmer against that wall... My tank became alot clearer after I did that (not like it was cloudy, just less particles blowing arount in the current). What you gonna do for a clean up crew?
