I have a 29 frag tank with a wrasse but am willing to get rid of him for a species only tank. I want something you cant have in a normal tank. I was thinking a pipe fish but I dont think he would like all the flow I need for the SPS

ANY ideas welcome. It has to be 100% reef safe and ok with alot of flow and no sand bed.

Not sure if they need a sand bed. I wouldnt think so. FlRicordia has one in his new 30 gal tank. before that he had it in his pico tank 3 gal I beleive. They dont swim to much so size isnt to important until later in its life id say. m But paramters could get thrown off from leftover food in the tank

Try to get your hands on like 10 LITTLE hitch hiker mantis shrimps. I'm sure people will give them to you for little to no cost + shipping.

Nah. Cause then I cant stick my hand in the tank
And they are kinda boring also

idk about a sandbed, but a PVC pipe to hide their bodies in? Then ud have to have ur tank sealed of so it cant get out,
man i know dude get a shark. thatd be sweet. ur frags should be ok they want some meaty foods!

I have LR in the tank so he would have ALOT of hiding places.

You could fill it with damsels..............HAHAHA, you said you wanted CRAZY. Are you going to keep it a frag tank? If not, do a ocld water system!

Its staying a frag tank. The damsels are not a bad idea. That would be funny to see them all fight

It would definitely never be calm and silent in that tank. I was actually half joking, half serious when i suggested it. My damsels are super active, and the only reason people dont like them is because their so mean. But if they were all damsels, it wouldnt matter.
You could feed every other day, and just throw in 3 cocktail shrimp to a bunch of damsels, it would be FOOD FIGHT!!!
